ちょっといい／津田元町正應寺付近 ― 2010年02月10日 00時00分
JR津田駅の東側は以外に斜面が迫っていて、線路を東へ渡りますとすぐに上り坂になり、少し上がると結構展望が開けます。
津田元町三丁目あたりにはお寺が数件寄り集まっており、坂道と相まって、ちょっと独特の雰囲気を醸し出しています。

正應寺北側には漆喰の崩れた土塀があります。白毫寺のような味わいがあります。道は崖の上を南に向かって直角にカーブし、崖の向こうに尊光寺が望め、なかなかの趣です。

すっかりと言っても良いほど漆喰が取れてしまっています。補修されてしまう日が近いかも知れません。

この土塀の先、崖と反対側の東を見ますと、こんな景色です。
まるで鉄道のスイッチバックのように、平坦な道と坂道との切り返しになっており、漆喰の白と黒っぽい板壁とのコントラストが美しい古い建物が並びます。無粋な電柱がなければ…せめてあのタール色の木柱であれば、実に素晴らしい画になる景色であろうにと、残念に思います。

私このあたり、好きなところでして、いま平和堂のあるところに“みや鶴”の津田酒造があった頃、よく行ったり散歩したりしたもんです。隣に位置する春日神社は昔々、その造り酒屋が寄進した神社らしいですね。みや鶴の杜氏さんは、正月になると自ら振る舞い酒をしていたとおっしゃっていました。
少し山手には成功正宗の蔵もあって…ちょっと懐かしい思いをさせてもらいました。

この土塀は少しの雨でも侵食されてしまいそうで心配ですよね。この写真は去年の夏頃のものなので、もう、補修されているかも知れません。
「元町」ってのはやはり旧市街（ちょっと大げさですが）って事なんでしょうかね？四條畷市には元町はなく、先日のエントリにある「中野本町」と「蔀屋本町」があるだけです。しかしこの二つとも古い在所ではありますね。
津田駅のすぐ近くですのでゲイリーさんのところから、ひどく遠くはないと思いますので、ぜひ訪ねてみてください。ここだけではなく、このあたりはなかなか良いところですよ。

酒蔵は北河内の交野を最後に、南へは八尾の慶雲長龍でしたっけ？（なるほどよい酒ってコピーだったかと？）までぽこっと抜けているようですね。と言っても、あまり知りませんので、山本龍造さんのバックナンバーを読ませていただかないといけませんね。

津田元町や長尾元町、それに招堤元町や郡（こおり）元町などなど、僕の知る「元町」には風情ある町並みが残っています。
この正應寺、見たことがあるかどうかはちょっと記憶が定かではありません。近々訪問してみます。
